Hi, I’m Robert — the creative mind behind burnaphoto, a visual storytelling brand based on Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory.

With over 20 years behind the lens, I’ve captured everything from fast-paced hockey to quiet, cinematic landscapes. What began as a passion for freezing action has grown into a deep love for portraits, nature, macro detail, and drone work — all rooted in the beauty of the land I call home.

I’m proud to live on Tyendinaga with my wife, who is Mohawk, and our son. I’m part Ojibwe myself, and I carry that connection to the land and our stories into everything I create. Whether it’s capturing family moments, building cinematic reels, or showcasing the quiet magic of a thunderstorm over the Bay of Quinte, my goal is always the same: to tell real stories with heart.

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me with my family, tending our chickens, fishing, or fixing something — always looking for the next moment worth sharing.
